Here at the Harvest Board, we capitalize on any excuse to celebrate! Being founded and based in the state of Utah, our July calendar consists of many reasons to do so.
Kicking off the month with the Fourth of July, we join the country in celebrating our Independence with neighborhood parades, blue & red decor, delicious food, fireworks, and summertime gatherings. Similarly, Utahns finish off the month with all the same activities, recognizing the Twenty-fourth of July as Utah’s Pioneer Day - commemorating the first group of pioneer settlers that traveled to the Salt Lake Valley.
On this July Twenty-fourth, we hoped to show our love to the state of Utah through our Beehive Board design. Using our 17" Scallop Harvest Board, we played off Utah's title, the Beehive State, by gathering all the beehive essentials!
Starting with, of course, Beehive Rolls from Beehive Bread and Pastry Co. Found at local grocery stores across the Western states, the buttery dinner rolls never disappoint. We thought cornbread complimented the rolls, while bringing also another option for party guests.
Additionally, we couldn’t help but use the Raw Honey from Ballerina Farm. This creamy honey paired so well with the bread choices and brought the bee theme to life!
To add the ultimate beehive touch, we went to our local Amy Boutique, to find the perfect honeycomb and beehive dishes. We love the way the dishes establish a home spun but elegant element to the design.
Whether celebrating the state of Utah, or the different states and countries around the world which you live in, we hope to inspire the ways you “Gather Something Good.”
