We love summer for a lot of reasons, but a big one is peach season. There is nothing better than a fresh, juicy peach in the summer. I mean we need to take advantage of every delicious peach recipe we can find, right?!
One that we love is Peach and Ricotta Crostini. It is quick, easy and good to serve at literally every meal! We'll leave the recipe below so you can try it out this summer too!
INGREDIENTS:
Peaches
Peach Jam
Ricotta
Sourdough Bread
Basil
We prefer to use a homemade peach jam recipe, but you are welcome to use any peach jam you have on hand! We love this recipe from Barefeet in the Kitchen. The touch of cinnamon and lemon juice add an amazing contrasting flavor to the ricotta that is on the toast.
RECIPE:
Toast your bread of choice (we love sourdough cut in smaller pieces to make it more bit sized).
Spread your ricotta cheese on the toasted bread.
Spread peach jam onto each slice of bread.
Slice the peaches and add 1-2 per piece of toast.
Top with fresh, chopped basil.
